The sourdough starter has wheat and makes up less than 3% of the finished loaf. This is traditionally how german rye bread is made. Wonderful flavor. Rich. Moist. Excellent for toast, open sandwiches, smoked fish, or just buttered and demolished! Rye is rich in iron, has lots of fiber has a lower glycemic index than wheat. But you know... bottom line, it's fabulously tasty! :-) This takes TIME, so orders must be received 2 full days before delivery.
